Together

As the crisp air of November envelops us in a cozy embrace, we find ourselves reflecting on gratitude and the spirit of giving that defines this season. At AmpleHarvest.org, we are filled with enthusiasm for the bountiful opportunities November brings to nurture our communities. Thanksgiving offers us a chance to gather, to share not just meals but stories and joy. How can we extend these blessings beyond our own tables? Perhaps by considering Giving Tuesday as a powerful moment to support local food pantries and those in need. Imagine the impact we can make together, transforming extra harvests into hope for many. Whether you're donating fresh produce or spreading the word, your participation is a vital thread in the fabric of compassion that strengthens us all. Let's embrace this season of abundance with open hearts, turning gratitude into action and making a difference, one garden at a time.

November is…

November not only welcomes the season of giving and gratitude, but it also marks Native American Heritage Month—a time to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and histories of Native American communities. At AmpleHarvest.org, we are deeply committed to recognizing and respecting the invaluable contributions of Indigenous peoples, especially in the realm of sustainable agriculture and food sovereignty.  We invite you to visit www.AmpleHarvest.org/IndianCountry to learn about AmpleHarvest.org’s one of a kind initiative enabling food pantries on Native American reservations nationwide to receive donations of freshly harvested garden produce from nearby Indigenous gardeners.

Centerpieces for Pantries

Join us in making a meaningful impact this holiday season with our Centerpieces for Pantries campaign! By participating, you can transform your festive gatherings into opportunities for giving. Simply create beautiful centerpieces and donate them to local food pantries along with non-perishable food items. This thoughtful gesture not only brightens the tables of those in need but also spreads warmth and generosity throughout the community.

CFC

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is for the Federal community who want to GIVE HAPPY. Every year, they come together to raise money and volunteer for their favorite charities, spreading happiness around the world one gift at a time. If you or someone you know works for Uncle Sam, consider supporting AmpleHarvest.org (CFC # 62424) to help end hunger and food waste on a sustained basis.

Food banks are continuing to see large numbers of people needing food assistance. If you've planted a garden, think about growing more to feed more. If you can't grow a garden, share AmpleHarvest.org on social media, volunteer, or donate. Every act of kindness counts.
